AN INVITATION AND PROMISE FROM PRESIDENT ETHAN WILLIS OF THE GILBERT ARIZONA SEVILLE STAKE
I invite you to more intentionally study your patriarchal blessing with muscular prayer each week from now until General Conference. As you do this, and come prepared to Conference with new insights about your divine purpose, you will receive further guidance and answers to your prayers. Through this process, you will come to know with greater clarity and conviction the purposes God has for your life in a very personal way. You will have a renewed sense of motivation, perspective and joy in your life. You will have an added measure of strength to resist the personal temptations you are battling.

Step 1:
Circle all of the words in your patriarchal blessing that describe you (for example, humble or sincere). List these words beneath the heading “I am.”
Step 2:
Underline all of the phrases that describe actions to take (for example, “study the scriptures diligently” or “seek an advanced education”). List these phrases beneath the heading “I will.”
Step 3:
Review your lists. Ask yourself, “What does my patriarchal blessing reveal about God’s purpose for my life?”
